While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its entrance was appalling and beyond comprehension .

From the moment I entered , it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a pungent odor of stale beer and uncleaned toilets polluted the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of ammonia , putrefaction and illness . The counter , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and litter that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The restroom was in even more deplorable shape — spilling over , with a snapped lever and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was human excrement .
